Nine To Seven, Midnight Force, Polly's Yohanna, Mepunga Mila and Appalachian were slow to begin.
Polly's Yohanna and Mepunga Mila collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Black Que checked of Run From Reality approaching the first turn. Midnight Force, Run From Reality and Black Que collided on the first turn checking Midnight Force, Run From Reality and Appalachian. Nine To Seven, Polly's Yohanna and Mepunga Mila collided on the first turn checking Nine To Seven. Midnight Force and Polly's Yohanna collided several times in the home straight checking Polly's Yohanna. Nine To Seven and Midnight Force collided approaching the winning post.
