Macey Moo – Late scratching at 2.02pm when Trainer Mr Lanigan reported the greyhound to have an elevated temperature (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Our Missy Grace and Ted Do were slow to begin.
Harmon Bale and American Star collided soon after the start. Harmon Bale checked off Braith Bale on the first turn. American Star and Ted Do collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Our Missy Grace and Huxley Bale collided on the home turn. American Star checked off Huxley Bale in the home straight.
