Steward's Report
Kadalex Kid - late scratching at 3.18pm when Mr. K. Reynolds reported the greyhound to have an injured hock (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certiifcate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Skittle.
Alon was quick to begin. Kingsbrae Boof was slow to begin. Skittle was checked off Alon approaching the first turn. Major Pursuit and Take A Rose collided on the first turn checking Take A Rose. Kingsbrae Boof faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Skittle and Major Pursuit collided approaching the home turn. Take A Rose, Skittle and Major Pursuit collided in the home straight checking Skittle and Take A Rose.
Kingsbrae Boof underwent a post race examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
