Steward's Report
Soldado, Stretch Butler and Cudgee's Jayne were quick to begin.
Soldado and Stretch Butler collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Nessa's Bliss contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, checking Star Ballerina. Alvarado checked off Our Manny on the home turn. Alvarado raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Star Ballerina underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Nessa's Bliss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury and a right foreleg deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
