Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Keith Lloyd the representative of Speedy Amira regarding the nomination of the greyhound in this event. Mr Lloyd stated that the greyhound was either inadvertently nominated for this event or drawn into this event by the grading department. Mr Lloyd further added that the greyhound was ill yesterday and scratched accordingly. Stewards accepted Mr Lloyd's explanation.
Thomeli Monster, Midnight Mystery and Yeller Bale were slow to begin.
Annie Lava and Tornado Tears collided on the first turn. Blue Shadow and Tornado Tears collided approaching the third turn. Tornado Tears and Yeller Bale collided on the third turn, checking Tornado Tears. Midnight Mystery raced wide in the home straight.
