Steward's Report
Winlock Newbolt was slow to begin.
One Step Forward and Lulumon collided soon after the start, checking One Step Forward. Whoomph and Dakora collided on the first turn, checking Dakora. Dakora faltered and tailed off on the first turn. One Step Forward and Seven Enemies collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
Seven Enemies underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Dakora underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Bomber Creek - the winner of the event.
