Bernmar Blue - new declared weight 28.7kg, last raced at 26.7kg.
Chief's Magic and Jumping Breen collided soon after the start checking Jumping Breen. Dr. Headley and Chief's Magic collided approaching the first turn checking Chief's Magic. Jumping Breen contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost ground. Bernmar Blue brushed the running rail on the first turn. Spifflicate and Leo Rose collided in the home straight.
Jumping Breen underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
