Tinker Dorf underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Yenderra Bazza underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left fore carpus and left hind webbing. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Night Glow left the course without undergoing a post-race veterinary examination. Trainer Ms. H. Baxter was advised that no nominations would be accepted for Night Glow until it has been examined by an on-course veterinarian. 

Little Women and Dorrigo Bale were quick to begin. Aston Sultan was slow to begin.

Little Women and Diego Fernando collided on the first turn. Clark Road raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr A.Setford, regarding the scratching of Icarus from this event. Mr A.Setford advised he had taken the greyhound to the Walnut Veterinary Clinic, where he was advised the greyhound was unfit to race. A copy of the Vets certificate has been supplied to Stewards.

Mahjong Ted was quick to begin. Magic Octagon was slow to begin.
