Steward's Report
Nashville Nights, Polly's Wilma and New York Diva were slow to begin.
Toy Fair and Whispy Bale collided soon after the start. Whispy Bale and Mr. Coconut collided soon after the start. Polly's Wilma and Nashville Nights collided soon after the start. Hitomi Bale and New York Diva collided on the first turn checking Hitomi Bale. Nashville Nights and Mr. Coconut collided on the third turn checking Nashville Nights. Hitomi Bale marred Nashville Nights in the home straight. Mr. Coconut raced wide in the home straight.
Hitomi Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind spike wound and a right pectoral injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs A. Daily, the trainer of Hitomi Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Hitomi Bale was charged with marring. Mrs Daily pleaded guilty to the charge, Hitomi Bale is suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
