Romanowski was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Aston Peregrine and Bejarano collided soon after the start.  Havana Miss, Ayo Joy and Start A Riot collided soon after the start checking Havana Miss and Ayo Joy.  Bejarano, Our Rock Man, Havana Miss and Ayo Joy collided on the first turn.  Ayo Joy checked off Havana Miss on the second turn.  Bejarano and Start A Riot collided approaching the home turn.  Start A Riot marred Callister in the home straight.

Start A Riot was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right back and triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr K. Hellmuth, Trainer of Start A Riot regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Start A Riot was charged with marring.  Mr Hellmuth pleaded not guilty to the charge, Start A Riot was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Akashi Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind foot and an injury to the right deltoid, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr R. Douglas, Trainer, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Akashi Boy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Douglas pleaded not guilty to the charge, Akashi Boy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
