Stewards spoke to the trainer of Gabby Gabby, Mr J Galea, regarding the performance of the greyhound in today's event. Mr Galea stated that he was testing Gabby Gabby to see if she was able to run a strong 500 metres, however after today's event, Mr Galea intends on retiring the greyhound to GAP. Stewards took into account Mr Galea's explanation, the injury sustained, and interference suffered on the first turn and took no further action.
