Steward's Report
Lulumon was slow to begin.
Lorenza and Aston Imperial collided soon after the start. Completed and Gordette collided on the first turn. Aston Imperial and Gordette collided approaching the home turn, checking Gordette. Mepunga Debbie galloped on the heels on Gordette approaching the home turn, checking Mepunga Debbie and severely checking Gordette.
Gordette underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right monkey muscles and the left and right pencil muscles. A 10-day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Jackie Dee - the winner of the event.
