Harmony Hall and Mustered Courage collided soon after the start.  Rockette Lee galloped on the heels of Any Luck on the first turn checking both greyhounds and also checking Cracked Soda.  As Iron Why stumbled approaching the home turn and raced wide as a result. 

As Iron Why underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left hind leg.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Loufie and Flinders were quick to begin.  Dr. Gretchen, Dr. Braelyn and Dr. Jayla were slow to begin.  Your Queen, Dr. Gretchen and Dr. Luna collided soon after the start checking Your Queen and Dr. Gretchen; Dr. Gretchen stumbled as a result.  Dr. Braelyn and Dr. Jayla collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Loufie and Flinders collided in the back straight checking Flinders.

Minter Zoom and Scatterbox were quick to begin.  Lamotta was slow to begin.  Larkhill Pryor checked off Lamotta approaching the first turn.  Lamotta and Bernmar Blue collided on the first turn.  Has The Power checked off Scatterbox on the first turn.  Larkhill Pryor and Has The Power collided approaching the home turn.  Larkhill Pryor raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Aston Topaz crossed in soon after the start checking Spolly's Angel and Lots Of Chatter.  Spolly's Angel, Major Minter and Lots Of Chatter collided approaching the first turn checking Spolly's Angel.  Spolly's Angel, Dr. Rayna, She Wiggles and Bella Edition collided on the first turn checking Dr. Rayna and She Wiggles, severely checking Bella Edition which lost ground and subsquently tailed off.  Major Minter and She Wiggles raced wide in the home straight.

Bella Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Aston Topaz - the winner of the event.

That Will Be checked off Off To Monaco soon after the start.  Big Bella checked off Off To Monaco approaching the first turn.  So They Say, Off To Monaco and Tink collided on the first turn checking Off To Monaco.  Having Words checked off High Kings on the first turn.  High Kings and Off To Monaco collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  So They Say raced wide entering the home straight.  Off To Monaco checked off High Kings entering the home straight.

Ichiban Fairy was quick to begin.  Perrie The Fairy checked off Ichiban Fairy soon after the start.  Ichiban Fairy and Ishmy Barry collided approaching the first turn.  Monster Machine, Knock The Clock and Spotted Panther collided on the first turn checking Spotted Panther.  Monster Machine and Knock The Clock collided approaching the home turn.  Perrie The Fairy checked off Ichiban Fairy entering the home straight.  Perrie The Fairy and Ishmy Barry collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Spotted Panther and Mepunga Bonnie collided in the home straight.

Ishmy Girl checked off Dr. Summer soon after the start.  Too Good Joog and Dr. Summer collided on the first turn.  Audacious Poppy and Too Good Joog collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Uzzi Bale crossed to the outside on the home turn severely checking Dr. Summer and Dream Gem; Dr. Summer raced wide as a result.  Too Good Joog galloped on Audacious Poppy entering the home straight checking One More Light.  Audacious Poppy raced wide in the home straight.

Frost Us was quick to begin.  Urban Bourbon raced wide throughout the event.
