Sensory, Aston Verve and Selynya Ryan collided on the first turn checking Sensory, Nimble Leo and Selynya Ryan. Selynya Ryan, Betty Bowl and Bush Bro collided approaching the home turn. Sensory contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. Selynya Ryan, Betty Bowl and Bush Bro collided in the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Giggling Gerty - the winner of the event.
Sensory underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left ulna/radius and a left foreleg monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
