Track Curator Mr. Q. Tanner advised that the track was lightly harrowed on 30th August 2019.

Due to a technical issue with the on-track computer, kenneling was undertaken manually. 

Crown Tuxedo and Butterfish were slow to begin.

Hook Along Mint checked off Sharky Shark approaching the first turn. Butterfish checked off Crown Tuxedo approaching the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Borg, trainer of Sweet Impala regarding the circumstances pertaining to the scratching of the greyhound. Mr. Borg stated that he checked Sweet Impala yesterday and again this morning and found the greyhound to have a hock injury. Mr. Borg added that he would likely give Sweet Impala an extended period of time to recover from it's injury. Stewards noted Mr. Borg's comments and took no further action. 

Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 5.27pm due to thunder and lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Warrnambool Track. Due to safety concerns Stewards called an idenfinite delay. After consultation with the Weather Bureau all races went back one race with Race 12 re-scheduled to start at 9.32pm. 

Simon Told Helen was quick to begin. Selynya Teddy was slow to begin.

Selynya Teddy and Moonie Convoy collided on the first turn checking Moonie Convoy.

Fairytale Wish was quick to begin.

Black Aria and Bandwagon collided soon after the start. True Survivor and Absolute Scenes collided on the first turn.

Fairytale Wish was vetted after an incident in the catching pen. No apparent injury was detected.

Ernie Bale  –New declared weight of 34.5kg, last raced at 33.4kg.

Stilton Rush and Harrell Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Highland Gypsy and Razor Burn collided approaching the home turn. Crown Nikki and Coyote Ugly collided approaching the home turn checking Coyote Ugly. Razor Burn checked off Ernie Bale entering the home straight. Stilton Rush checked off Coyote Ugly in the home straight.

Sensory, Aston Verve and Selynya Ryan collided on the first turn checking Sensory, Nimble Leo and Selynya Ryan. Selynya Ryan, Betty Bowl and Bush Bro collided approaching the home turn. Sensory contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. Selynya Ryan, Betty Bowl and Bush Bro collided in the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Giggling Gerty - the winner of the event.

Sensory underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left ulna/radius and a left foreleg monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Saintly Jack, Winlock Casper and Lochinvar Adore collided soon after the start. Chops Malone, Rampant Doc, Rebecca Bale and Blackpool Doc collided on the first turn checking Rebecca Bale. Saintly Jack, Rampant Doc and Blackpool Doc collided approaching the home turn checking Rampant Doc and Saintly Jack. Chops Malone galloped on the heels of Winlock Casper approaching the home turn. Noonbarra Storm and Winlock Casper collided on the home turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Lochinvar Adore - the winner of the event.

Rampant Doc underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Blackpool Marvel stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. 

Bush Destroyer, Spring Classic and Lava You Beauty collided on the first turn checking Bush Destroyer, Spring Classic and Blackpool Marvel. Bush Destroyer checked off Blackpool Marvel entering the home straight.

Crackerjack Nev, Rosie Yaala and Bold were slow to begin.

Rosie Yaala checked off Kentucky Sun entering the home straight.

Little Women was quick to begin.

Jacobite Joseph went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Josephine was quick to begin. Thomeli Monster was slow to begin.

Magic Bulldozer and Show Of Force collided soon after the start. Love Heart and Magic Bulldozer collided on the first turn checking Magic Bulldozer and Midnight Hussler. Crackerjack Tys checked off Midnight Hussler on the first turn. Josephine and Show Of Force collided entering the home straight checking Show Of Force. Love Heart and Magic Bulldozer collided approaching the winning post checking Love Heart.
