Steward's Report
Pyrenees Spirit was slow to begin.
Pyrenees Spirit and Jono's Express collided soon after the start. Moraine Rosie, Savannah Lee and Skibo Rebel collided approaching the first turn. Barellen Mist and Jono's Express collided on the first turn, checking Jono's Express. Moraine Rosie and Savannah Lee collided approaching the home turn. Oriental Sugar raced wide on the home turn.
Jono's Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and left hindleg spike wound injuries. A five day stand down period was imposed.
