Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

Aston Genesis was quick to begin.  Our Missy Grace was slow to begin.  Nobel Prize, Steampunk Wolf and Our Missy Grace collided on the first turn checking Steampunk Wolf. Nobel Prize was checked off Our Missy Grace on the first turn.  Nobel Prize raced wide on the home turn.  What A Kicker and Our Missy Grace collided in the home straight.

My Era Rico and Curious Faith collided soon after the start checking Curious Faith.  Secrets Untold, True Alpha and My Era Rico collided on the first turn checking True Alpha.  La Quinta Rocks and Aston Guinness collided on the first turn checking Aston Guinness. 

Aston Guinness underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a  cervico-thoracic injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bigwig was quick to begin.  Jugungal Black was slow to begin.  Monkey Wrench galloped on Bigwig on the first turn checking Monkey Wrench, Thurles Princess and Jugungal Black and severely checking Bigwig which faultered and subsequently pulled up.  Jugungal Black was checked off Monkey Wrench approaching the home turn.

Bigwig underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius/ulna and was humanely euthanased.

Sanjiro and Kiomara collided soon after the start.  Rioli and She Wiggles collided approaching the first turn.  She Wiggles and Rioli collided on the first turn.  Sanjiro and Darnum Dasher collided on the first turn.  Sanjiro was checked off Darnum Dasher in the back straight.  Sanjiro and Kiomara collided in the back straight. Seve Rose and Kiomara collided on the home turn.

Duce Royal, Thandie Bale and Mahjong Nickel were slow to begin.  Thandie Bale and Patricia Maureen collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Crackerjack Soc was checked off Aston Clurey on the first turn.  Duce Royal and Crackerjack Soc collided on the home turn.  Mahjong Nickel raced wide in the home straight.  Thandie Bale crossed out and raced wide approaching the winning post.

Midnight Waltz underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered a seizure and to have an injured left shoulder muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Texas Metal - Late scratching at 17.38pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR37) due to a laceration on the left hind foot.  A 10 day stand period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Agent Jordan. A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Bag Of Tricks was slow to begin.  Zipping Annabel and Stigmatize collided on the first turn. Run Robyn Run was checked off Crimson Knight on the first turn checking Run Robyn Run.  Run Robyn Run and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the home turn.    Crimson Knight and Agent Jordan collided on the home turn.  Crimson Knight and Run Robyn Run collided several times on the home turn and in the home straightt.  Run Robyn Run, Agent Jordan and Bag Of Tricks collided approaching the winning post.
