Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Crypto Geek, Gypsy Cinnamon, Lainey Basil and Pyrocumulus collided approaching the first turn, checking Gypsy Cinnamon and Lainey Basil. Lainey Zapper, Gypsy Cinnamon and Gypsy Xenon collided on the first turn, checking Gypsy Xenon. Crypto Geek and Lainey Basil collided in the home straight.

Loz's Bling, Stellio, Fractured and Mudslide collided soon after the start, checking Fractured. Loz's Bling and Stellio collided approaching the first turn, checking Fractured and serverley checking Stellio which lost ground as a result. Galaxy Queen and Fractured raced wide on the home turn.

Stellio underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound, right hind leg and abrasion, left forelimb. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Lonnie Loot, Aston Kipchoge and Sunset Bourbski were slow to begin.

Oddjob Lad, Lonnie Loot, Aston Kipchoge and Spyglass collided on the first turn, checking Spyglass, Aston Kipchoge and caused Sunset Bourbski to race wide. Tan Back Tan marred Saint Rock on the third turn. Tan Back Tan and Saint Rock collided on the home turn. Sunset Bourbski and Lonnie Loot raced wide on the home turn. Tan Back Tan and Saint Rock collided in the home straight. Tan Back Tan marred Saint Rock in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Peter Bartlett, the handler of Tan Back Tan regarding the greyhounds racing manners on third turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tan Back Tan was charged with marring. Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Tan Back Tan is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tan Back Tan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound, right hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Stealth, Fireball Friday, Christo Bale and Aston Pirate collided soon after the start, checking Aston Stealth and Christo Bale. Denzell Bale, Aston Cosmo, Fireball Friday and Christo Bale collided on the home turn, checking Aston Cosmo. Fireball Friday checked of the heels of Denzell Bale approaching the home turn. Aston Shadow, Aston Cosmo and Aston Stealth collided in the home straight.

This race was delayed approximately one minute whist track staff cleared the track.

Guinness Banshee and Onions O'Reilly collided approaching the first turn. Iylee Bale crossed to the running rail on the first turn, checking Rixy Ya Pest. Zipping Norton, Loading Zone and Zipping Magda raced wide on the home turn.

Lochinvar Deus and Chill Out Isla were slow to begin.

Sweet Daisy, Go Natalie Go, High Kings and Shima Melody collided soon after the start, checking Go Natalie Go and High Kings. High Kings and Go Natalie Go collide approaching the first turn, checking Go Natalie Go and Lochinvar Deus. Sweet Daisy and Little Tubbsy raced wide on the home turn.

Free Advice, Axel Boy Jose and Vin Joel collided on the first turn, checking Vin Joel. Blackpool Alfie checked off the heels of Nessa's Zara approaching the home turn. Nessa's Zara and Blue Emerald raced wide on the home turn.

Fernando's Flare and Dream Wizard collided soon after the start, checking Fernando's Flare. Princess Ollie checked of the heels of Baileys On Ice on the first turn. Dream Wizard turned it's head outward in the home straight. Princess Ollie and Lektra Rainbow collided approaching the winning post. 

Princess Ollie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico/thoracic injury, left shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dream Wizard underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr.S. Lithgow, the trainer of Dream Wizard regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Dream Wizard was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. S.Lithgow pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dream Wizard was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
