Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Lika Lottie and Madalia Pixie were slow to begin.  Madalia Pixie checked off Battle Symphony soon after the start causing Madalia Pixie to stumble.  She's A Keeper checked off Dr. Knuckles on the first turn.  Holey Dollar and Jonah Alcatraz collided on the first turn.

Jonah Alcatraz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Urana Fernando and Chase's Entity collided on the first turn checking Chase's Entity and Madalia Brodie.  Lamotta, Urana Fernando and Airly Pablo collided on the first turn checking Airly Pablo.  Madalia Brodie and Airly Pablo collided on the home turn.

Stewards reviewed the footage and gave the all clear after the starting box lights went from amber to green back to amber.  Stewards spoke to the starter and track staff, lights were tested and functioned correctly..

Larkhill Pryor was slow to begin.  Sensory, Dr. Madelyn and Dr. Liana collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds; Dr. Liana subsequently pulled up.  Dr. Masala and Larkhill Pryor collided on the second turn.  Dr. Masala and Lucky Lulu collided in the home straight.

Dr. Liana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind achilles tendon injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed by approximately three minutes due to the on track veterinarian attending to an injured Greyhound.

Hird From Bucks and Fuel 'Em collided approaching the first turn checking Hird From Bucks and Anise.  Hird From Bucks and So Much Mojo collided on the first turn.  Thistle Rock and Wake The Dragon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Anise and Hird From Bucks collided in the home straight.  Anise and Hird From Bucks raced wide in the home straight.

Shima Rock and Inuka were slow to begin.  Shima Rock and Shantelle Rose collided on the first turn checking Shima Rock and Whodat Dare severely checking Shantelle Rose and Meehan Louie causing Meehan Louie to fall.

Meehan Louie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front wrist injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Tickle My Fancy checked off Locked In on the first turn checking Tansy and Zipping Samara.  Tickle My Fancy brushed the running rail on the first turn and collided with Tansy.  Zipping Samara checked off Locked In on the home turn.

Mepunga Billy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraided carpal pad right foreleg.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Monkey Wrench was slow to begin.  Seve Rose and Monkey Wrench collided entering the back straight checking Monkey Wrench severely checking Seve Rose.  Henessey Venom  and She Wiggles collided on the second turn checking Henessey Venom which lost ground as a result.  Cranberry Miss and Madalia Ken collided in the home straight.

Madalia Ken underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a spike wound to the right hock.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. John Connor, the trainer of Madalia Ken and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
