Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rippy Rocket and Sunshine Spolly were slow to begin.

Kingy Lights, Crackerjack Baz, Rippy Rocket, Isn't She Sleek and Always There collided approaching the first turn checking Isn't She Sleek, Rippy Rocket, Crackerjack Baz and Kingy Lights causing Crackerjack Baz to lose ground and Kingy Lights to lose considerable ground.

Kingy Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sweet Antares was quick to begin.  Tip Toe Spolly and Rippy Rascal were slow to begin.

Agent Ivy, Capital Kay, Barellen Rocket and Why Not Gigi collided approaching the first turn checking Barellen Rocket, Capital Kay and Agent Ivy.  Agent Ivy and Barellen Rocket collided on the first turn checking Agent Ivy, Barellen Rocket, Tip Toe Spolly and Capital Kay.  Tip Toe Spolly checked off Barellen Rocket on the first turn checking Capital Kay, causing Tip Toe Spolly and Capital Kay to race wide.

Kay Okay – New declared weight of 26.1kgs, last raced at 27.3kgs.

Big Boy Marjen was quick to begin.

Galloping Felix and Big Boy Marjen collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Galloping Felix crossed out approaching the first turn checking Galloping Felix, Big Boy Marjen and Rev The Jockey causing all three greyhounds to race wide.  Galloping Felix checked off Broady Lights on the home turn.  

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Conway, the trainer of Galloping Felix and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn.

Jackson's Creek - Late scratching at 6.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr E. Lieshout was fined $100.

Cruyff was slow to begin.

Vigorous and September Dream collided soon after the start.  September Dream and Joyful collided soon after the start checking September Dream.  Vigorous, Joyful, Mich Wiggle and Cruyff collided on the first turn checking Mich Wiggle and Joyful.  

Stewards spoke to Mr B. Sands, the trainer of Mich Wiggle and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Oriental Jade.

Kimani checked off Aston Jolie approaching the first turn.  Major Winston, Paw Licious, Cal's Girl and Aston Jolie collided on the first turn checking Paw Licious, Aston Jolie and severely checking Cal's Girl. Paw Licious and Aston Jolie collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Jolie, causing Paw Licious and Kimani to collide checking Paw Licious as a result.  That Will Be and Knuckles collided on the home turn.  That Will Be raced wide entering the home straight checking Knuckles.  Paw Licious cramped in the home straight.

Paw Licious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Paw Licious must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Italia Bella, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Mates Rates and Cute Patootie were quick to begin.  Patches Colour was slow to begin.

Cute Patootie and Waltz On Bye collided soon after the start checking Waltz On Bye.  Cute Patootie, Verne Bale and Hook Along Mint collided approaching the first turn checking Verne Bale and Hook Along Mint.  Cute Patootie crossed out on the first turn checking Verne Bale and Hook Along Mint.  Patches Colour crossed in approaching the second turn checking Mates Rates.  Italia Bella and Cudgee's Jayne collided on the second turn checking Cudgee's Jayne.  Waltz On Bye galloped on Italia Bella in the back straight checking Cute Patootie and Cudgee's Jayne, causing Italia Bella and Waltz On Bye to lose considerable ground.

Big Bella was quick to begin.  Break The Plate and It's A Drama were slow to begin. 

Layback Cruiser and Reap The Rewards collided approaching the first turn checking Layback Cruiser.  Hardaway Samara and One More Light collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Reap The Rewards and Gracelands collided approaching the winning post.

Big Bella – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Barbie Jiggs - Late scratching at 6.19pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Bosnich was fined $100.

Diamond Lady, Coughlin's Law, Senor Senor and Mystic Faith were slow to begin.

Senor Senor and Mystic Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Senor Senor.  Diamond Lady, Coughlin's Law, Jump The Bar, Fascinate Candy and Mystic Faith collided on the first turn severely checking Coughlin's Law and Jump The Bar.  Fascinate Candy and Mystic Faith collided on the first turn checking Fascinate Candy, severely checking Mystic Faith and Senor Senor.  Jump The Bar and Mystic Faith collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Faith.  Diamond Lady raced wide in the home straight.

Ridgeline checked off Esther Bale on the first turn cehcking Awesome Shae.  Victa Libby galloped on Raining Rainbows approaching the home turn checking Why Not Rose and causing Raining Rainbows to lose ground. 

Let's Roll was quick to begin.  Spolly's Beauty was slow to begin.

Fast Talker checked off Ruby Zeal soon after the start.  Dream Wizard and My Girl Mel collided approaching the first turn.  Ruby Zeal and My Girl Mel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds, causing Ruby Zeal to race wide.  Fast Talker raced wide approaching the home turn and for the remainder of the event.
