Steward's Report
Aston Logic and Enid's Angel were quick to begin. Tekki Jim was slow to begin. Brave Hearted was very slow to begin (3L).
Tekki Jim visably eased soon after the start and pulled up. Free Advice checked off See Nitro on the first turn, severely checking See Nitro.
Tekki Jim underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms P Smith, the handler of Tekki Jim, regarding the greyhound's racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Tekki Jim was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Tekki Jim is suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
