Steward's Report
Lightning Roger was slow to begin.
Pyrenees Steele lost ground soon after the start and took no competitive part in the event. Chill Out Indy checked off Chill Out Pedro in the home straight. Chill Out Indy checked off Pontiac Icon approaching the winning post.
Pyrenees Steele underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ian Robinson, the trainer of Pyrenees Steele, regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Pyrenees Steele must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
