Crowdza Dancin' and Cawbourne Scar were slow to begin. Mepunga Debbie was very slow to begin (4L).
Last Hurrah and Sweet As Emm collided soon after the start, checking Sweet As Emm. Crowdza Dancin' and Cawbourne Scar collided soon after the start. Crowdza Dancin' and Ayo Joy collided approaching the first turn. Sweet As Emm and Ayo Joy collided on the first turn, checking Sweet As Emm. Ayo Joy and Crowdza Dancin' collided on the first turn; severely checking Crowdza Dancin' who faltered as a result.
