Selynya Teddy galloped on Watched on the first turn, checking Selynya Teddy. Dustification brushed the rail on the first turn and lost ground. Zipping Martha galloped on Watched on the first turn, checking Zipping Martha. 

Zipping Martha underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Josephine.

Josephine was quick to begin. Crazy Summer, Xalynn Bale and Oriental Gracie were slow to begin.  

Miss Rampe checked off Mrs. Sharp soon after the start. Miss Rampe checked off Crazy Summer on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Oriental Gracie and Crazy Summer collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds

Miss Rampe underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Pirate - Late scratching at 6.38pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr Ray Brittain was fined $100.

Arlington was quick to begin. Tamou Bale and Yeller Bale were slow to begin. 

Zipping Sherman and Reiko Houdini collided soon after the start. Yeller Bale checked off Zipping Sherman approaching the first turn. Yeller Bale contacted the rail on the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Tamou Bale and Zipping Sherman collided on the home turn.  Zipping Sherman and Reiko Houdini collided on the home turn. 

Yeller Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasion to the left hock and right foot, however no stand down period was imposed.

Miss Zok Dee and Zekel Bale collided soon after the start, checking Miss Zok Dee. Mepunga Doyle, Milwaukee Miss and Ernesto Bale collided soon after the start, checking Ernesto Bale. Mepunga Spectre, Miss Zok Dee and Zekel Bale collided soon after the start, checking Miss Zok Dee and Zekel Bale. Mepunga Spectre checked off Mepunga Doyle approaching the first turn. Crowdza Dancin' and Cawbourne Scar were slow to begin.  Mepunga Debbie was very slow to begin (4L).

Ayo Joy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe laceration. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Crowdza Dancin' underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Cutlass, Star Reiko and Mepunga Pegasus collided soon after the start, checking Star Reiko.  Silver Smarty, Abstract Miss, Mepunga Pegasus and Cutlass collided approaching the first turn, checking Cutlass, Spyglass and Striking Success.  Striking Success raced wide on the second turn.  Silver Smarty and Mepunga Pegasus collided approaching the fourth turn, checking Silver Smarty.  Star Fever and Star Reiko collided on the fourth turn, checking Star Fever.
