Wake Up and Unbuckled collided soon after the start.  La Quinta Rocks, Unbuckled, Wake Up and Incy Valley collided approaching the first turn checking Wake Up, Incy Valley and La Quinta Rocks.  Triskelion, Wake Up and La Quinta Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Wake Up.  Wake Up and Incy Valley collided entering the back straight checking Incy Valley which tailed off as a result.  

Incy Valley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Incy Valley was found to have a right foreleg trapezius muscle injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr George Kantzidis, the trainer of Incy Valley regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Incy Valley must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-sample was taken from Sir Jay Jay in accordance with GAR 79 (1), having presented for an exhibition trial.

Sir Jay Jay - Performed an exhibition trial over 715m from box 3, weighing 37.3kg in a time of split 1, 6.35 split 2, 16.17 split 3, 30.92 and an overall time 41.912.

Dont Tell Ange - New declared weight - 22.5 

Diamantina Rose was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Lara Tara went up with the lids and was slow to begin.

Lara Tara and Sheer Bliss collided entering the back straight.  Mr. Coconut checked off Sheer Bliss on the third turn.  Diamantina Rose and Sheer Bliss collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Dont Tell Ange underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5, no apparent injury could be detected.

A pre-race sample was taken from Revolution Hook.

Route Sixty Six was slow to begin.

Weblec Smoke and Blue Mascara collided approaching the first turn.  So Tough checked off Weblec Smoke approaching the third turn checking Route Sixty Six.  Blue Mascara severely checked off Weblec Smoke entering the back straight severely checking Revolution Hook.  Revolution Hook checked off So Tough on the third turn.  Weblec Smoke checked off Gino Gambino approaching the home turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Hooked On Scotch - the winner of the event.

Dyna Quail was quick to begin.  Spectral Blade was slow to begin.

Red Rochelle, Cosmic Ollie, Dyna Quail and Why Not Kez collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Ollie, Dyna Quail and Why Not Kez.  Lady Bang Bang and Red Rochelle collided entering the front straight.  Lady Bang Bang, Red Rochelle and Cosmic Ollie collided approaching the second turn.  Spectral Blade raced wide on the second turn.  Dyna Quail contacted the running rail entering the back straight and lost ground.  Spectral Blade checked off Cutlass approaching the home turn.  Why Not Kez checked off Cosmic Ollie approaching the home turn.  Why Not Kez checked off Cosmic Ollie approaching the winning post.

Dyna Quail underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right hind thigh muscle and abrasions to the left hind paw. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

After acting upon a confirmed telephone call from trainer Mr H McAdam, the greyhounds Counting Pennies and Unique Quality were declared late scratchings via permission of the stewards at 12:06. Stewards accepted the reason for the greyhounds' scratching, and took no further action.

Atomic Icon, Hopeful and Meehan Bazz was slow to begin.

Red Queen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Atomic Icon, Meehan Poppy and Zipping Hazel.  Meehan Poppy, Atomic Icon, Zipping Hazel, Meehan Bazz and Hopeful collided approaching the first turn checking Atomic Icon which stumbled and severely checking Hopeful.  Zipping Hazel and Meehan Poppy collided approaching the second turn.  Meehan Poppy checked off Zipping Hazel approaching the home turn.  Meehan Bazz checked off Meehan Poppy approaching the winning post.

Hopeful underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Red Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right foreleg paw. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

After acting upon a confirmed telephone call from trainer Mr H McAdam, the greyhound No Excuse was a late scratching via permission of the stewards at 12:06. Stewards accepted the reason for the greyhounds' scratching, and took no further action.

A pre-race sample was taken from Special Kirst.

Silvio Dante was slow to begin.

Segovia's Dream and Give Me Wings collided soon after the start. Segovia's Dream and Give Me Wings collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Segovia's Dream.  Special Kirst and Silvio Dante collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Silvio Dante raced wide in the back straight.  

Following the running of this event stewards and club officials inspected the track after significant rainfall and deemed the track suitable for racing.  

Donald's Out, Humble Inquiry and Prince Cody were slow to begin.  Curnow Keats and Mrs. Sharp were quick to begin.

Mrs. Sharp crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Weblec Diamond and collided with Curnow Keats.  Prince Cody raced wide on the first turn.  Weblec Diamond and Mrs. Sharp collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Humble Inquiry raced wide in the back straight.  Donald's Out galloped on Mrs. Sharp on the third turn severely checking Mrs. Sharp.

Lumen Nation and My Dewana Penny were quick to begin.  Samp De Keats were slow to begin.

Mepunga Doyle and Gladiator collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  My Dewana Penny and Mepunga Doyle collided approaching the first turn.   My Dewana Penny, Mepunga Doyle and Gladiator collided on the first turn.  Cornhill Tiger raced wide on the first turn.  My Dewana Penny, Mepunga Doyle and Submission collided on the second turn checking My Dewana Penny and Mepunga Doyle.
