Kip Your Best – Late scratching at 11:53am when Mr S. Kipirtidis reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Mr Kipirtidis presented the Stewards with a veterinary certificate for the greyhound during kennelling.

Rusty Model was quick to begin.  Lola Lee and Gunner's Hawk were slow to begin.

Gunner's Hawk contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Gracelands and Brave Traveller collided approaching the winning post.

Valencia Kid underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Woodleigh Sal and Taking Off collided soon after the start.  Darcon Raider checked off Xalynn Bale soon after the start.  Woodleigh Sal checked off Baz The Rocket on the first turn.  Shrek's Rusty and Darcon Raider collided on the first turn causing Shrek's Rusty to brush the running rail, checking Darcon Raider and severely checking Shrek's Rusty.  Shrek's Rusty checked off Darcon Raider approaching the home turn. Aladdin Prince and Princess Spolly collided on the home turn.  

This event was delay by 5 minutes due to Kramer Bale undergoing a veterinary examination at the starting boxes. Kramer Bale was a late scratching at 21.51pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a tail injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Chase 'Em Spolly raced wide on the first turn.  Cheeky Bumpa and Regal Duke collided entering the home straight checking Cheeky Bumpa.

Chase 'Em Spolly underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Our Aqua Blue – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to whelping. Weighing 30.1kgs and beginning from box 1 beaten by 3 ½ lengths. Our Aqua Blue has been cleared to race at all tracks.
