Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin.
Lonnie Mach crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Steinbrenner. Steinbrenner, Silver Smarty and Gwydion collided on the first turn checking Steinbrenner and Silver Smarty. Lochinvar Deus and Hectic Bro collided on the first turn, entering the front straight, approaching the second turn and again on the third turn checking both greyhounds.
