Ready And Armed checked off Perfect Piper soon after the start. Perfect Piper and Our Magic Turbo collided approaching the first turn. Ready And Armed, Go Pappa Go and Our Magic Turbo collided on the first turn, checking Ready And Armed and Undeniably; and causing Go Pappa Go and Our Magic Turbo to fall. Nimble Rebel raced wide in the home straight.

Go Pappa Go underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hindleg and right hindleg quadriceps and triangle muscle injuries. A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Our Magic Turbo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg thigh injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
