Dyna Yella and Road To Nhill collided soon after the start. Mr Uggboot, Merl's Angel and Savannah Icon collided on the first turn, checking Merl's Angel and severely checking Mr Uggboot. Merl's Angel and Road To Nhill collided in the home straight, checking Road To Nhill.
Mr Uggboot underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg toe injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
