Ms  N.Stanley, Trainer of Causing Drama  was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound pursuant to GAR 33.

Aston Pirate, Zipping Hilton and Causing Drama  collided on the first turn checking Zipping Hilton and severely checking Causing Drama. Pumbaa checked off Unrivalled Dusty on the first turn. Unrivalled Dusty raced wide on the home turn. Pumbaa raced wide on the home turn. Lana's Image and Graphic Design collided in the home straight. 

Causing Drama underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Pumbaa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg shoulder joint and deltoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Mepunga Holly upon arrival at the course.

Zipping Lach was slow to begin. 

Zipping Loch checked off Zipping Sarah on the first turn. Mepunga Holly, Saint Beth and Light Up Ruksana collided on the first turn checking Saint Beth and Light Up Ruksana. Zipping Lach raced wide in the home straight. Light Up Ruksana raced wide in the home straight. 

A car park sample was  unable to be obtained from Saint Beth, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

So Much Mojo and Little Snitzel collided soon after the start. Thomeli Boy and Talmage collided approaching the first turn checking Thomeli Boy. He's A Natural, Talmage and Asby Quick collided on the first turn checking Talmage and severely checking Ashby Quick.

Ashby Quick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right flexor tendon injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Freddy Perfect was a late scratching at 9.20AM by order of Stewards.

Our Man Zed and Dirty Stella collided soon after the start. Tyson's A Rebel and Nimble Rebel collided on the first turn checking Nimble Rebel and Our Man Zed. Our Man Zed checked off Dirty Stella approaching the home turn. Pillar Creek and Dirty Stella collided on the home turn.

Thomeli Monster, Donald's Out and Weblec King were slow to begin.

 Talanjee Minnie, Black Sombrero and Bisenti collided approaching the first turn checking Black Sombrero and Bisenti. Talanjee Minnie faltered on the first turn and collided with Thomeli Monster. 

A post-race sample was taken from Weblec King - the winner of the event.

Talanjee Minnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Don't Tell Pappa and Dirty Max were slow to begin. 

Dirty Max, Lindy Bop and Bourne Thanks collided approaching the first turn. Kalani Willow and Tibby Shore collided approaching the first turn. Don't Tell Pappa and Ledgerwood Libby collided on the first turn. Lindy Bop checked off Tibby Shore on the home turn. Kalani Willow raced wide in the home straight.

Stewrds spoke to Mr J.Formosa, the trainer of Speckie Mckean regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 1st July to the 11th July.(11 days --4 starts). Mr Formosa stated  the greyhound had only worked in the exercise yards between race starts and in his opinion was fit for racing . Mr Formosa added the greyhound had not finished further back than second in each of its past four starts.

Stewrds spoke to Ms K. Houlahan, the handler of Layback Cruiser regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 30th June  to the 11th July. (12 days --4 starts). Ms Houlahan  stated  the greyhound has only been lightly exercised between race starts, and in her opinion the greyhound was fit for racing. Ms Houlahan also added that the greyhound has won 3 of its last 4 starts.

Rum Dum, Maximum Brew and Diesel's A Rebel collided soon after the start checking Maximum Brew and Diesel's A Rebel. Speckie McKean, Layback Cruiser and Dyna Hinkley collided on the first turn checking Dyna Hinkley. Speckie McKean raced wide on the home turn checking Layback Cruiser. Dyna Hinkley checked off the heels of Speckie Mckean in the home straight. Rum Dum and Maximum Brew collided in the home straight. Dyna Hinkley raced wide in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Henessey Venom - the winner of the event.

Trainer Matthew Lanigan advised Stewards that Blue Glitter was scratched in accordance with the rules after the greyhound was found to be suffering an illness.

Stewrds spoke to Ms K. Houlahan, the handler of Sergeant Schultz regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 30th June  to the 11th July.(12 days --4 starts). Ms Houlahan stated the greyhound has been lightly exercised between races, and in her opinion was fit for racing, she also added the greyhound has been placed at 3 out of his last 4 starts.

Gai Keeping and Taylor Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Gai Keeping and severely checking Taylor Bale. Sergeant Schultz and Summer Skye collided on the home turn.

Taylor Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Mack - the winner of the event.

Stewrds spoke to Ms K.Houlahan, handler of  Winlock Shakey regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 29 June  to the 11th July.(13 days --4 starts). Ms Houlahan stated the greyhound had been exercised minimally in between recent starts and was confident the greyhound was  showing no signs of fatigue.  

Flossy Lee was slow to begin.

Miss Jacky, Panadero King and Winlock Shakey collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Jacky and Panadero King. Winlock Shakey and Chilly Kiss collided approaching the home turn checking Chilly Kiss.

Coco Suzy and Rampant Doc collided approaching the first turn checking Rampant Doc and severely checking Coco Suzy. Thomeli Tash and Rampant Doc collided on the home turn.

Coco Suzy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shimando.

Cloona Reward was slow to begin.

Cash No Bounce and Glayva collided on the first turn. Oh So Rowdy, Brake Drum and Cloona Reward collided on the home turn and again in the home straight. Glayva and Ashby Nimble collided approaching the winning post.

Oh So Rowdy which fell approaching the catching pen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Spring Me was slow to begin.

Maximum Tiff, Master Cosmic and Ginny Woolf collided soon after the start. Master Cosmic, Spring Me and Ledgerwood Molly collided on the first turn checking Spring Me. Master Cosmic and Ledgerwood Molly collided approaching the home turn.
