A pre-race sample was taken from New Fire Girl.
Zambora Cash and One More Light were quick to begin. New Fire Girl was slow to begin.
Navy Storm checked off New Fire Girl on the home turn. One More Light and Lucas Rose collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking One More Light.
Trainer Mrs D. Selleck requested that Checker Plate undergo a post-race veterinary examination, the greyhound was found to have a laceration to the left wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Blair Bale - Was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for fail to chase injury Weighing 25.7kgs and beginning from box 1 beaten by 2 ¼ lengths. Blair Bale has been cleared to race all tracks.
Easy Tash – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound. Easy Tash was also stood down from racing at Sale for fail to chase. Weighing 28.3kgs and beginning from box 4 beaten by 6 lengths. Easy Tash has been cleared to race all tracks except Sale.
Zipping Caesar – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for cramping. Weighing 36.2kgs and beginning from box 8 winning by 2 ¼ lengths. Zipping Caesar has been cleared to race at all tracks.
