Brandeen Fi was slow to begin. Aston Asahi galloped on Muza's Angel on the first turn checking Miss Hanigan and Muza's Angel causing Miss Hanigan and Velocity Whisper to collide severely checking both greyhounds. Lakeview Lacy and Miss Hanigan collided on the first turn severely checking Lakeview Lacy. Velocity Whisper was checked off Lakeview Lacy on the home turn. Lakeview Lacy and Brandeen Fi collided on the home turn.
