Stamped Urgent and Mikayla's Bella were slow to begin.
Stamped Urgent and Mikayla's Bella collided several times soon after the start checking Mikayla's Bella. Mikayla's Bella faltered approaching the 150m mark. Stamped Urgent faltered approaching the 100m mark and at the 50m mark.
Stamped Urgent underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left pencil muscle, the right quadricep and the right hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Mikayla's Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
