Go Zippy Go was slow to begin.
Zipping Brandy checked off Go Zippy Go at the 200m mark. Courage Crest and Chardy collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark. Zipping Brandy crossed out at the 175m mark checking Lucky Paws and Zipping Brandy. Go Zippy Go galloped on the heels of Spring Nugget at the 50m mark severely checking Spring Nugget.
Zipping Brandy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
