Flossing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toes and right hamstrings, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards delayed the All Clear to review the lure run up time after the green starting light failed to activate.  After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards determined the start was not impacted and the All Clear was given.

Premier Rumble and Max Tractor were slow to begin.  Start A Riot, Aston Peregrine and He's For Me collided approaching the first turn checking Start A Riot and Aston Peregrine.  He's For Me, Lektra Fireball, Max Tractor and Premier Rumble collided on the first turn checking Max Tractor.  Lektra Fireball and Premier Rumble stumbled.  Aston Peregrine checked off Max Tractor entering the back straight.  Start A Riot checked off Max Tractor in the back straight.  Lektra Fireball checked off Premier Rumble approaching the home turn.

Major Innings was vetted prior to the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left front wrist and was passed fit to compete.  

The commencement of this race was delayed by approximately 10 minutes due to the incorrect withdrawal of Major Innings at 8.50pm with the TAB. TAB Raceday Operations re-included Major Innings at 8.59pm. The offical start time of the race was 9.05pm.

Vivatar and Major Innings were slow to begin.  Black Opium, Querencia and Ashley's Entity collided soon after the start.  Vivatar checked off Querencia approaching the first turn.  Black Opium and Querencia collided on the first turn checking Black Opium.  Ashley's Entity checked off Zipping Magda on the first turn.  Rockstar Prince, Good Odds Buddy, Zipping Magda and Major Innings collided approaching the second turn.  Querencia contacted the running rail approaching the second turn.  Querencia and Ashley's Entity collided on the second turn checking Ashley's Entity.  Querencia and Zipping Magda collided approaching the home turn.  Vivatar and Major Innings collided entering the home straight.
