Aston Shakira and Diamond White collided soon after the start and again approaching the 300m mark checking Aston Shakira. Buddy's Entity and Midnight Muscat collided at the 300m mark. Midnight Muscat and Triceps Brachii collided at the 200m mark checking Triceps Brachii. Kubla De Kahn and Buddy's Entity collided approaching the 150m mark checking Buddy's Entity, Triceps Brachii, Kubla De Kahn and Midnight Muscat.
Aston Shakira underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Kubla De Kahn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left carpal sprain. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
