Silky Success and Waverly Bale were slow to begin.  Silky Success, Solar Charge and Grab That Earn collided soon after the start checking Silky Success and Solar Charge.  Downtown Dolly and Acer collided on the first turn checking Downtown Dolly.  No Standing, Acer, Silky Success and Solar Charge collided approaching the home turn checking No Standing, Silky Success and Waverly Bale.  Downtown Dolly and Silky Success collided on the home turn checking Silky Success.

Waverly Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to representative Ms. T. Kennedy-Harris regarding the number of starts the greyhound  has had between 24/06/19 and 05/07/19 (11 days - 5 starts). Ms. Kennedy-Harris stated that as the greyhound was only excercised on a walking machine between races and not free galloped it coped with having its races close together.  Ms. Kennedy-Harris also stated that the greyhound was seen regularly by a vet.

Patricia Maureen was quick to begin.  Capricious was slow to begin.  Clover Lee was checked off Patricia Maureen approaching the first turn.  Capricious was checked off Zipping Kay approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.

Mad Eye Madam and Timmy Tunga were slow to begin.  Timmy Tunga and Sisters Lee collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Samp De Keats and Father Phevos collided on the first turn.  Father Phevos crossed out on the home turn.

Sisters Lee underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a left hind toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

Monty Python was slow to begin.  She Got Fire and Oz Wizard collided soon after the start.  Oz Wizard was checked off She Got Fire approaching the first turn.  Jaxon's Express and Monty Python collided on the first turn checking Monty Python.  She Got Fire and Muza's Belle collided approaching the home turn.  Oz Wizard and Gruff Rose collided on the home turn.  Akhenaten, Muza's Bell and Monty Python raced wide in the home straight.

Bobbie Cristalle faltered soon after the start and subsequently pulled up.  Janiya Bale and Beauty To Behold collided on the first turn.  Spolly Smasher and Bruce's Back raced wide entering the home straight.

Bobbie Cristalle underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle and right pencil muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Erolo Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a superficial laceration to the right hind leg.  Janiya Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to trainer/representative Ms. T. Kennedy-Harris regarding the number of starts Erolo Bale has had between 20/06/19 and 05/07/19 (5 starts) and Janiya Bale between 21/06/19 and 05/07/19 (14 days - 5 starts).  Ms. Kennedy-Harris stated that as the greyhounds were only excercised on a walking machine between races and not free galloped they coped with having their races close together.  Ms. Kennedy-Harris also stated that the greyhounds were seen regularly by a vet. 

Spolly Smasher underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left hamstring.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Side Splitting was slow to begin.  Side Splitting, Walk Woody Walk and One Thrill collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.  One Thrill galloped on Gee Dalton on the first turn.  Pink Floyd galloped on One Thrill approaching the home turn.  Side Splitting galloped on Gee Dalton approaching the home turn causing Side Splitting and One Thrill to race wide and lose ground.  Lakeview Lacy, Galloping Rokyto and Side Splitting raced wide in the home straight.

Cosmic Fox was quick to begin.  Actic Iggy and Rose Rose collided soon after the start.  Arctic Iggy faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.

Arctic Iggy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right and left back muscle and right stopper.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Mindy's Girl was slow to begin.  Monster Machine galloped on Zipping Amy soon after the start.  Monster Machine raced wide entering the home straight.  Premier Jess and Mindy's Girl raced wide in the home straight.

Desiree Dancer underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A post race sample was taken from Spotted Panther - winner of the event.

Mother Monster - new declared weight of 29.4kg, last raced at 27.9kg.

Ms. Julie Grindley, representative requested an early race endorsement for Mirror Max.  The endorsement was approved for Mirror Max after an examination prior to racing by the on track Veterinarian.  Stewards directed that the greyhound compete in early races only until further notice.

Berry Bound was slow to begin.  Mirror Max and Ninetymile Hawk collided soon after the start.  Redhead Chez was checked off Golden Fernanda on the first turn.  Golden Fernanda and Mother Monster collided on the first turn checking Golden Fernanda.  Mirror Max, Ninetymile Hawk and Berry Bound collided on the first turn.  Golden Fernanda, Redhead Chez and Inter Santina collided on the first turn.  Redhead Chez raced wide on the home turn checking Inter Santina.  Inter Santina and Lady Mikado collided approaching the winning post.

Smoke Signals was slow to begin.  Weeona Roger stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.  Aurora Miss and Good Move collided soon after the start.  Smoke Signals and Aurora Miss collided on the first turn checking Aurora Miss and Good Move.  Vienna Gypsy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Aurora Miss underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. S. Jack regarding the number of starts of Aurora Miss has had between 20/06/19 and 05/07/19 (15 days - 5 starts). Stewards inquired as to the training practices between the greyhound's last start on 02/07/19 and today's event, Mr. Jack stated he could not answer this question until he had checked his records, Stewards requested Mr. Jack contact them with the information he referred to. Further inquiries will be made with Mr. Jack regarding this matter.  

Supplementary Report: On Monday 8 June 2019, Mr Jack contacted Stewards and provided answers to the questions put forth on Friday 5 July 2019. In short, Aurora Miss was checked by Dr Des Fagan around 8 days prior to this start and was then checked by a muscle man the night before this race. In general, Aurora Miss does little between runs with this racing schedule other than basic fundamental maintainence and well-being activities. The Stewards were satisfied with this advice to answer their query with this matter.
