Steward's Report
Silky Success and Waverly Bale were slow to begin. Silky Success, Solar Charge and Grab That Earn collided soon after the start checking Silky Success and Solar Charge. Downtown Dolly and Acer collided on the first turn checking Downtown Dolly. No Standing, Acer, Silky Success and Solar Charge collided approaching the home turn checking No Standing, Silky Success and Waverly Bale. Downtown Dolly and Silky Success collided on the home turn checking Silky Success.
Waverly Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. T. Kennedy-Harris regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 24/06/19 and 05/07/19 (11 days - 5 starts). Ms. Kennedy-Harris stated that as the greyhound was only excercised on a walking machine between races and not free galloped it coped with having its races close together. Ms. Kennedy-Harris also stated that the greyhound was seen regularly by a vet.
