Staggerism crossed inside soon after the start colliding with Pride Of Oasis and Rival Natalie. Staggerism, Lost Horizon, All Inn Roselee and Tippa Power collided at the 250m mark. All Inn Roselee and Tippa Power collided at the 200m mark. Pride Of Oasis checked off Staggerism at the 150m mark. Staggerism and Rival Natalie collided approaching the 100m mark checking Springvale Misty. All Inn Roselee and Tippa Power collided several times at the 50m mark. 

Pride Of Oasis underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Wilcock, the trainer of Pride Of Oasis and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 40m mark.

Lost Horizon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Angel's Comet was slow to begin.

Oliver Lee checked off Spritely Too soon after the start. Braemar Keelie and Hardaway George collided at the 300m mark. Angel's Comet and Oliver Lee collided at the 300m mark. Angel's Comet and Oliver Lee collided several times at the 200m mark checking Angel's Comet and Silver Sultan. Silver Sultan and Oliver Lee collided at the 150m mark.

It's All Over and Golden Years collided several times soon after the start severely checking both greyhounds. Hard Boiled and Chloe Crumpet collided approaching the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Lucky Paws and Chloe Crumpet collided at the 150m mark. Hard Boiled checked off it's All Over at the 150m mark. Lucky Paws and Dancin' In collided at the 100m mark. Dancin' In checked off Golden Years at the 50m mark.

Hard Boiled underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Magpie Robbie was slow to begin.

Tilly Lee and Pranjip Comet collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Tilly Lee checked off My Name's George approaching the 300m mark. My Name's George and Pranjip Comet collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark. Go Shirvo Go and No Recourse raced tight and collided several times from the 250m mark to approaching the 150m mark. No Recourse turned its head at the 100m mark and collided with Go Shirvo Go. Magpie Robbie, My Name's George and Pranjip Comet collided at the 100m mark. Magpie Robbie and My Name's George collided approaching the winning post.

Magpie Robbie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

No Recourse underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr C. Russell, the handler of No Recourse regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1) No Recourse was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Russell pleaded guilty to the charge. No Recourse must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gehrig and Jupiter Jones were slow to begin.

Jameka Gold checked off Rurik at the 300m mark. Smash Flash checked off Rurik at the 150m mark. Jameka Gold checked off Murray Mojito at the 50m mark. Jupiter Jones checked off Tat Scooby approaching the winning post.

Manhattan Mandy – New declared weight of 25.6kg, last raced at 26.9kg.

All Inn Fergi was slow to begin.

New England and Black Eclipse collided soon after the start.

At the conclusion of this event, Stewards directed to 'Hold All Tickets' due to a concern with the positioning of the Lure over the concluding stages of the event. After reviewing the official race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that as a consequence of the positioning of the lure, no greyhound had been substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the event and the "All Clear" was given pursuant to GAR55(1).  Stewards subsequently spoke to Lure Driver, Mr Lachlan Gough, regarding his drive for this event.  Mr Gough advised that he may have been closer than the required distance on this occasion.  Stewards will refer the matter to the appropriate Manager.

New England underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind laceration and multiple sand toes. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Peter Frost, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Taking into consideration the incident regardng the lure drive over the concluding stages for this event, Stewards took no action against New England.  

Select Bully - Late scratching at 10:11am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M. Niele was fined $100.

Calfuray – New declared weight of 32.6kg, last raced at 30.9kg. 

Speed Alert, Adala Prince and Unexplainable were slow to begin.

An out of competition sample was taken from Inter Joe on Tuesday 25th June pursuant to GAR 79A.

Aeroplane Hank and Lost Papers collided at the 200m mark checking Oliver Cruise. Lost Papers and De Belin collided at the 200m mark. Oliver Cruise and Lost Papers collided approaching the 150m mark checking Aeroplane Hank. Oliver Cruise and De Belin collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark. Inter Joe and Galo's Best collided at the 50m mark. Stagger Out Sam and Inter Joe collided approaching the winning post.

Cullquin Bomber - Late scratching at 10:47am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Shakey Cougar was slow to begin.

Scott Muscle and Further Dreamer collided soon after the start. Jupiter Asending, Scott Muscle and Renegade collided several times at the 200m mark severely checking Renegade which lost ground as a result.

Renegade underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race blood sample was taken from All Bling - the winner of the event.

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 300m with 4 greyhounds required to trial. The winning time of trial was 17.23:

Road To Nhill finished 2nd, Prima Mikado finished 1st, Rapid Rock finished 3rd.

Road To Nhill – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a right stopper injury. Weighing 33.8kg and beginning from box 1, beaten by 0.75L. Road To Nhill has been cleared to race at all tracks.
