Steward's Report
Azure Dragon – Late scratching at 7:45am when Mr G. Campbell reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Over And Away.
Over And Away and One Plus Two collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds, One Plus Two faltered and tailed off as a result. Miss Booming crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Prince Mark. Over And Away and Prince Mark collided at the 300m mark. Tyson's Rebel checked off Miss Booming approaching the 250m mark.
One Plus Two underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind triangle injury. A 28 stand down period was imposed.
