Steward's Report
What Feeling was very slow to begin - 4 lengths.
Grumpy Ray and Spritely Too collided soon after the start. Paddy Ray and Superior Kris collided soon after the start. Grumpy Ray, Spritely Too and Paddy Ray collided at the 250m mark. Emma's Not Happy, Grumpy Ray and Spritely Too collided at the 200m mark. Spritely Too, Superior Kris, Got Some Zip and Diamond Lee collided at the 100m mark. Got Some Zip checked off Diamond Lee at the 50m mark. Emma's Not Happy failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the winning post.
Emma's Not Happy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted after race 4 was found to have shin soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the representative Mr J. Keel, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Emma's Not happy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keel pleaded not guilty to the charge, Emma's Not Happy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Grumpy Ray underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
