Grumpy Ray and Spritely Too collided soon after the start. Paddy Ray and Superior Kris collided soon after the start. Grumpy Ray, Spritely Too and Paddy Ray collided at the 250m mark. Emma's Not Happy, Grumpy Ray and Spritely Too collided at the 200m mark. Spritely Too, Superior Kris, Got Some Zip and Diamond Lee collided at the 100m mark. Got Some Zip checked off Diamond Lee at the 50m mark. Emma's Not Happy failed to pursue the lure with due commitment approaching the winning post. 

Emma's Not Happy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted after race 4 was found to have shin soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the representative Mr J. Keel, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Emma's Not happy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keel pleaded not guilty to the charge, Emma's Not Happy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Grumpy Ray underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Cracked Pepper and Ray Shoesmith collided soon after the start. Classy Vanda and Hala Aussie collided soon after the start. Classy Vanda crossed out at the 250m mark checking Cracked Pepper. Classy Vanda faltered approaching the winning post.

Classy Vanda underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr M. Ellis, the trainer of Classy Vanda regarding its performance approaching the winning post. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Classy Vanda must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rapid Hennessy, Tennyson Girl and Rockin' Rosco were quick to begin.

Nimble Nala and Rockin' Rosco collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark checking Nimble Nala. Rapid Hennessy and Paw Liscious collided soon after the start. Rockin' Rosco, Tennyson Girl and Nimble Nala collided several times from the 100m mark to the 50m mark. Nimble Nala checked off Rockin' Rosco at the 50m mark.

Lady Nina - Late scratching at 10.56am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a metacarpal laceration. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Broken Pieces and Mayhem Flyer collided at the 150m mark. Broken Pieces and Tears In Eyes collided at the 100m mark. Crackerjack Ward and Tilly Lee collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.

Stewards noted that there was no head on vision available for this event.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (7) Steward Demi Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.

Sketchy Skinny and Ruby's Boy were slow to begin.

Sacre Bleu crossed to the outside soon after the start nd collided with Taking Off, Zipping Ester and Manila Sprite. Sketchy Skinny crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and lost ground. I'm Livin' It crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and lost ground. I'm Livin' It and Taking Off collided approaching the 50m to the winning post.
