Solar Tiny and Quick Blaze were slow to begin.
Impatient Miss and Pippa Squeak collided soon after the start. Merriview Benny and Slingshot Lilham collided soon after the start. Pippa Squeak, Aston Lindop and Merriview Benny collided on the first turn checking Merriview Benny and severely checking Solar Tiny and causing Aston Lindop to fall. Merriview Benny checked off the heels of Slingshot Lilham approaching home turn. Solar Tiny and Quick Blaze collided several times approaching the winning post. Impatient Miss cramped approaching the winning post.
Aston Lindop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and left quadriceps muscle injury.. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Solar Tiny underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Impatient Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped and sustained a lumbo-sacral injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Impatient Miss must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
