Steward's Report
Pranjip Comet was slow begin.
Tex Nova and Jaimandy Roy collided soon after the start and again approaching the 250m mark. Dust Up crossed to the outside soon after the start. Pranjip Zeus crossed to the inside at the 250m mark. Jaimandy Roy crossed in at the 150m mark. As Only Is checked off Dust Up at the 150m mark. Dust Up checked off Tex Nova at the 100m mark. Mic Drop visibly eased at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post.
Mic Drop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Brian Hodgson regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mic Drop was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Hodgson pleaded guilty to the charge, Mic Drop must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
