Smashing Banjo, George Knockin' and Two Brandys were slow to begin. 

George Knockin' and Zipping Kay collided soon after the start. Lightfoot Lass and Soho Girl collided at the 250m mark. Lightfoot Lass checked off Soho Girl at 200m mark. Gin Lee's Baby checked off Soho Girl at the 150m mark, checking Lightfoot Lass. Zipping Kay checked off George Knockin' at the 150m mark. Lightfood Lass crossed to the outside at the 100m mark, checking George Knockin'.

Smashing Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Two Brandys underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right sartorius muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Pranjip Comet was slow begin. 

Tex Nova and Jaimandy Roy collided soon after the start and again approaching the 250m mark. Dust Up crossed to the outside soon after the start. Pranjip Zeus crossed to the inside at the 250m mark. Jaimandy Roy crossed in at the 150m mark. As Only Is checked off Dust Up at the 150m mark. Dust Up checked off Tex Nova at the 100m mark. Mic Drop visibly eased at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post. 

Mic Drop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Brian Hodgson regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mic Drop was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Hodgson pleaded guilty to the charge, Mic Drop must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jaimandy Spider and Golden Banjo collided approaching the 50m mark. 

Fun Time Mikado was quick to begin. Hello Goodnight and Blue Cigar was slow to begin. 

Hello Goodnight checked off Raven Rich approaching the 200m mark. 

Blue Phantom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Meehan Bazz were slow to begin. 

Mr. Vinnie and Crackerjack Ward collided soon after the start. Angel's Comet checked off Meehan Bazz at the 200m mark. Mr. Vinnie and Angel's Comet collided approaching the 100m mark. Mr. Vinnie checked off Crackerjack Ward at the 100m mark. Mr. Vinnie checked off Pacific Action at the 50m mark. Crackerjack Ward checked off Pacific Action approaching the winning post. 

Challis Annie and Western Bomber collided soon after the start, checking Western Bomber. Challis Annie and Shirdale Tom collided approaching the 200m mark. Challis Annie checked off Shirdale Tom at the 100m mark. Western Bomber and Shirdale Tom collided approaching the winning post.

North Wind was quick to begin and crossed in soon after the start, checking Cindy La Moment, Lexie's Boy and Miss Hanna Berry. Miss Hanna Berry and North Wind collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark, checking Miss Hanna Berry. Jupiter Jones checked off Lexie's Boy approaching the 150m mark. 

Cindy La Moment underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left wrist and a right wrist sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Just Jimmy and Go Didda Go were quick to begin. 

Go Didda Go lost ground soon after the start and tailled off. Keisha's Boy crossed to the outside approaching the 300m mark, checking Totolo which crossed out as a result.

Go Didda Go underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and left quadriceps muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Spritely Too crossed in soon after the start, checking Redhead Chez and Paw Licious. Tennyson Girl and Paw Licious collided at the 250m mark. 

Trainer, Mr Shane Jack requested an early race endorsement for Charlie's Feet. The endorsement was approved for Charlie's Feet after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian. Stewards directed the greyhound compete in Early Races only until further notice.

Rapid Hennessy was slow to begin. 

Tyche Onyx and Rapid Hennessy collided soon after the start. Rapid Hennessy and Cumberland Jet collided several times at the 250m mark, checking both greyhounds. Jupiter Asending crossed to the outside at the 250m mark and collided with Rapid Hennessey and Cumberland Jet; Jupiter Asending continued to race wide for the remainder of the event. Cumberland Jet checked off Rapid Hennessy approaching the 200m mark. Ko Rapid Jack and Tyche Onyx collided at the 200m mark. Tyche Onyx and Mania Honey collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark. 

The TAB declared 'hold all tickets" for this event after the finishing order has, for a short period of time, displayed the incorrect numbers on the semaphore board. It was established that the correct numbers had originally been displayed, however the numbers for race 9 have inadvertently appeared when the all-clear was given. The correct finishing order of 8-10-2-5 were amended and re-displayed on the semaphore board. The officiating judge was spoken to advisingly regarding the matter.

Sweet Ambush, Spring Nugget, Hard Boiled and Courage Crest collided at the 250m mark, severely checking Spring Nugget and Hard Boiled. Slipaway Bolt and Topaz Warrior collided several times at the 200m mark. Sweet Ambush and Chloe Crumpet collided at the 200m mark. Sweet Ambush, Chloe Crumpet, Challis Sprite and Courage Crest collided approaching the winning post, checking Sweet Ambush and Chloe Crumpet.

Latissimus Dorsi was slow to begin.
