This race was delayed by approximately 1.5 minutes to hold for Daytona Beach greyhounds. 

Flaming Fabio and My Diamond Girl were slow to begin. 

Rapidash crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking My Diamond Girl and Silver Sultan. Silver Sultan crossed in at the 250m mark, checking Rock Boy Stella. Rock Boy Stella checked off Silver Sultan approaching the 150m mark, checking My Diamond Girl. 

Mr Scott James failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Rapidash for racing. Mr James was found to have arrived approximately 3 minutes late to retrieve the greyhound and was subsequently issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46(2)

Ruth's Girl clipped the heels of Tippa Power approaching the 200m mark. Dan's Hopeful and Chase 'Em Spolly collided approaching the 200m mark. Dan's Hopeful, Chase 'Em Spolly and Tippa Power collided at the 200m mark. Chase 'Em Spolly and Ruth's Girl collided at the 200m mark. Dan's Hopeful checked off Tippa Power at the 150m mark and collided with Ruth's Girl and Chase 'Em Spolly. Ruth's Girl and Tippa Power collided at the100m mark, checking Ruth's Girl. Dan's Hopeful and Chase 'Em Spolly collided at the winning post. 

A post-race sample was taken from Gunai Gypsy - the winner of the event. 

Ms Joanne Power failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Tippa Power for racing. Ms Power was found to have arrived 8 minutes late to retrieve the greyhound and subsequently fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46(2)

Big Little Sis was a late scratching at 10:09am by Order of Stewards after the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling. No stand down period was imposed. 

Bring The Spring was slow to begin.

Waltz On Bye checked off Aqualite at the 250m mark. Bring The Spring and Aqualite collided at the 100m mark, checking Bring The Spring. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Kenneth Howat, the trainer of Big Little Sis after he presented the incorrect greyhound at kennelling. Mr Howat stated that the greyhounds had been placed in the incorrect kennels at home after mixing up their kennel collars. Stewards found Mr Howat in breach of GAR 31(1) after he failed to present the correct greyhound to Stewards prior to the end of kennelling. Mr Howat pleaded guilty to the charge, Stewards found Mr Howart guilty and imposed a $250 fine.

Little Tubbsy checked off Amanda Lee soon after the start. Matilda Mikado and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start. Brolga Lass crossed out at the 150m mark and collided with Amanda Lee. Blue Glitter checked off Flossing approaching the 50m mark.

Kroos and Valstrepo were slow to begin. 

Turbo Tony and Just Burning collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Handsome, Sam I'm Mikado and Kroos collided at the 300m mark, checking Sam I'm Mikado. Riddles and Valstrepo collided at the 250m mark. Handsome, Riddles and Kroos collided approaching the 200m mark. Tigga Toy, Turbo Tony and Just Burning collided approaching the 200m mark. Zipping Poppy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a left shoulder muscle injury and sorness to the right calf muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Sutcliffe, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Zipping Poppy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Sutcliffe pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Poppy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nangar Rippa was slow to begin. 

Friday Frothies and Eye Catcher collided at the 300m mark. Solid Bling crossed out at the 150m mark and collided with Nangar Rippa and Aston Valetta, checking Tickle My Fancy. Tickle My Fancy checked off Solid Bling approaching the 100m mark. 

Aston Tobin was slow to begin. 

Speckie Mckean and Miss Booming collided soon after the start. Sweet Strike and Speckie Mckean collided at the 250m mark. Sweet Strike and Miss Booming collided at the 100m mark, checking Sweet Strike. Aston Tobin checked off Sole Elusion approaching the winning post.

Chloe Louise was slow to begin. 

Sparkle Motion and Elly Banner collided at the 250m mark. Elly Banner failed to pursue the lure approaching the 200m mark. Sparkle Motion and Elly Banner collided several times from the 200m mark to the 100m mark. Elly Banner checked off Chloe Louise at the 100m mark. 

Braemar Keelie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Sutcliffe, the trainer of Elly Banner regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the 200m mark.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Elly Banner was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sutcliffe pleaded guilty to the charge, Elly Banner is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cee Me Snoop, Ultimate Bling and High Kings were slow to begin.

Stacey Keeping checked off Duce Royal soon after the start. Broadway Polka clipped the heels of All You Got soon after the start. Duce Royal and All You Got collided approaching the 200m mark, checking All You Got. Tricky Tron checked off Broadway Polka at the 150m mark and collided with Clark Road. Zipping Sassy crossed to the outside at the 150m mark and collided with Duce Royal. Zipping Sassy, Duce Royal and Broadway Polka at the 100m mark. Just Blacky was slow to begin.

Spolly's Girl faltered at the 250m mark and subsequently tailled off. Just Blacky crossed to the outsdie at the 200m mark. Lightning Parade checke doff Red Queen at the 100m mark. 

Spolly's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a right deltoid muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results - 350m:

Kuzma – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Sale for Marring. Weighing 37.8kgs and beginning from box 3, Kuzma completed the 350m trial distance in a time of 19.75 and placed 1st in a field of four, winning by 6 Lengths. Kuzma has been cleared to race at all tracks except Sale.

Satisfactory Trial Results - 300m:

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 300m with four required to trial. The winning time of trial was 16.79:

Kip Your Star finished 3rd, Nostimo finished 1st, Come On Lavendi finished 4th:

Kip Your Star – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for Failing To Chase. Weighing 34.8kgs and beginning from box 1, beaten by 5.5L. Kip Your Star has been cleared to race all tracks except Warragul

Nostima – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a stopper injury.  Weighing 34.5kgs and beginning from box 6, won by 2.75L. Nostima has been cleared to race all tracks. 

Come On Lavendi – Was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for Failing To Chase. Weighing 32.7kgs and beginning from box 8, beaten by 6.75L. Come On Levendi has been cleared to race all tracks except Cranbourne.
