A Pre race sample was taken from Loser Makes Good.
Dons Daughter was quick to begin. Loser Makes Good was slow to begin. Dons Daughter and Sooki Stackhouse collided soon after the start. Lucky Choice and Loser Makes Good collided approaching the first turn checking Loser Makes Good. Sooki Stackhouse and Lacey Underall collided on the first turn checking Lacey Underall. Lucky Choice and Lacey Underall collided in the back straight. Lacey Underall checked off Loser Makes Good on the second turn. Dons Daughter and Sooki Stackhouse collided approaching the home turn. Nearly Midnight galloped on King Sock Collo approaching the home turn checking Sooki Stackhouse, Loser Makes Good, King Sock Collo and Lucky Choice severely checking Dons Daughter which stumbled and lost ground causing Nearly Midnight to fall.
Nearly Midnight was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left eye, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
