Steward's Report
He's Schmick was slow to begin. Pawnee Boy crossed to the rail soon after the start, severely checking Shanetti Jack, McGuire Magic and He's Schmick, McGuire Magic and He's Schmick stumbled as a result. Baby Bad Girl and Pawnee Boy collided at the 300mtr mark. Baby Bad Girl checked off Where's Choice at the 250mtr mark checking He's Schmick, Pawnee Boy and Little Pumpa.
Pawnee Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
McGuire Magic was vetted and after being revetted following event 7, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Courts, the Trainer of the greyhound McGuire Magic. Stewards deemed the performance of McGuire Magic unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that McGuire Magic must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
