Steward's Report

Cool Cool Charm was slow to begin. Doc's Dora crossed to the outside approaching the first turn. Glenavon Robin, Cool Cool Charm and Hooded Alby collided on the first turn checking Hooded Alby, severely checking Cool Cool Charm. Betsy's Bootin and Frame collided on the first turn checking Betsy's Bootin. Doc's Dora eased approaching the winning post checking Riverside Mary and Joy's Boy.

Doc's Dora was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps and right back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's spoke to Mr. W P D Read, the trainer of Doc's Dora. Steward's deemed the performance of Doc's Dora unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Steward's directed that Doc's Dora must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.                                                                                                                                                                                                       Stewards issued a warning to Mr W P D Read, the trainer of Doc's Dora regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
