Masamune and Miss Cheekiness collided soon after the start.  Black Mustang and Pandora's Glory collided soon after the start.  Masamune, Pandora's Glory and Sam I'm Mikado collided at the 300m mark.  Montey Jack and Masamune collided at the 300m mark.  Pandora's Glory and Miss Cheekiness collided at the 300m mark.  Pandora's Glory checked off Sam I'm Mikado at the 250m mark.  Black Mustang and Hot Dot Two collided at the 150m mark.  Black Mustang eased and collided with Hot Dot Two at the 100m mark.  Black Mustang eased and collided with Hot Dot Two and High Kings at the 50m mark.

Black Mustang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr B. Ender and the handler Mr G. Fisher, regarding the greyhounds racing manners from 100m mark to the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Black Mustang was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).   Mr Fisher pleaded not guilty to the charge, Black Mustang was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Hot Dot Two - the winner of the event.

Crowdza Rockin' and Tears In Eyes were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Banyuatis crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Mt. View Gift and Tim Tam Sam.  Banyuatis and Shadrack collided several times from the 250m mark to the 200m mark checking Shadrack.  Mt. View Gift checked off Tears In Eyes at the 150m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nicko Express.

Abstract Miss and Go Shirvo Go collided soon after the start.  Soda Ezy checked off Nicko Express soon after the start checking Abstract Miss.  Go Shirvo Go and Garbutt collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the 250m mark.  Soda Ezy and Abstract Miss collided approaching the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark.  Banjo Plato crossed to the outside at the 150m mark.  Spolly's Flyer checked off Nangar Rippa at the 100m mark.  

Janray Rastus and Pectoralis were slow to begin.

Pectoralis crossed to the outside soon after the start colliding with Aztec Warrior and Kraken Roger in turn checking Olivia's Pearl.  Pectoralis checked off Kireina at the 150m mark. Ko Rapid Jack and Kireina collided several times at the 50m mark checking Ko Rapid Jack.  Janray Rastus and Kraken Roger collided approaching the winning post.    

Feelin' Seedy – New declared weight of 35.2kg, last raced at 33.8kg

Stewards fined licensed catcher - Mr Luke Branson the sum of $50 pursuant to GAR86(o) for negligently failing to catch the greyhound Lily the Weapon following this event after being engaged by trainer Mr. Norman Burns.

Bont's Magic – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a right back muscle injury

Keisha's Boy, Ninetymile Hawk, It's A Diva and Tinker Buzz collided soon after the start checking Ninetymile Hawk.  Kraken Tex checked off Bont's Magic at the 300m mark.  Keisha's Boy and Tinker Buzz collided at the 200m mark.  Galo's Best and Bont's Magic collided at the 150m mark.  Keisha's Boy and Tinker Buzz collided several times from the 150m mark to the 100m mark.  Nick's Never and Bont's Magic collided at the 100m mark.  Keisha's Boy checked off It's A Diva at the 100m mark.  Ninetymile Hawk and Tinker Buzz collided approaching the winning post.  

Kroos was slow to begin.

Meehan Bazz, Shirdale Casey and Jaimandy Jester collided soon after the start.  Newfire Chelle and Jaimandy Jester collided at the 300m mark.  Meehan Bazz and Shirdale Casey collided approaching the 250m mark.  Newfire Chelle and Meehan Bazz collided at the 200m mark.

My Name's Red – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of kennel

Last Outlaw was slow to begin.

Annaley Rooka, Tricky Tron and Aston Axel collided soon after the start.  Tricky Tron checked off Annaley Rooka at the 250m mark and crossed to the rail checking My Name's Red, Zharnel and Last Outlaw.  Last Outlaw stumbled as a result.  Annaley Rooka and Aston Axel collided at the 150m mark.  Mr. Jawa, Annaley Rooka and Aston Axel collided at the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post checking Mrs. Jawa and Annaley Rooka.

Stewards questioned licenced trainer, Ms J. Fothergill via telephone conference call regarding the circumstances for failing to make available the registration card for the greyhound My Name's Red.  Ms Fothergill stated that she had a vehicle breakdown in Melbourne 2 days prior and had inadvertently left the registration card at the motor mechanics.  Stewards noted that the GRV Member Services department had notified GRV Stewards today of the circumstances.  Stewards have placed an order on Ms Fothergill to produced supporting evidence by close of business on Monday 15th April 2019 or else penalties will apply pursuant to GAR 33(4)

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Maxwell, the handler of Last Outlaw and reminded of his responsibilities after he failed to follow the starters instructions pursuant to GAR 51 (10) (a).

Oliver Cruise and Seeka Moment collided soon after the start.  My Fernando Tim and Don's Just Under collided at the 250m mark.  Oliver Cruise checked off Seeka Moment approaching the 200m mark and crossed to the outside.  My Fernando Tim checked off Don's Just Under at the 200m mark.  Rosta Power and Midnight Storm collided at the 100m mark.  Hawkie and My Fernando Tim collided at the 50m mark.  

Uncatchable underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing on the left foreleg paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Fairytale Ending, Vandebay and Milo And Milk were slow to begin.

Voluptuous Dot and Milo And Milk collided approaching the 200m mark.  Milo And Milk checked off Voluptuous Dot collided approaching the 50m mark.  

Spring Nugget – Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a change of kennel and a spell
